Land 121 (Project Overlander) is a multi-phased project providing the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with current-generation, high-capability field vehicles, modules and trailers. It will acquire around 7500 protected and unprotected vehicles providing battlefield mobility, logistics support and tactical training.

Land 121 Phase 4 will acquire 1100 vehicles built in Thales Australia's Bendigo, Victoria factory and 1000 companion trailers. The Phase 4 fleet will provide a comparable level of protection to the Thales produced Bushmaster at around half the weight. This represents a new capability as it will be the only Australian protected vehicle capable of being transported by ADF helicopters.
